Its a long time since i posted so I will try again.
Shortish visit to the drome on Saturday before I umpired cricket at Olton.
Highlights were Turkish A321 TC-JMH and Air Berlin B738W D-ABBA,the latter still being in the old BER scheme.
Not much else on the ground although Netjets C56X CS-DQA departed to Luton around 10am and Continental/United B752W N21108 was parked up on the 80's having been cancelled dure to Hurricane Irene.
The morning Lufthansa Frankfurt flight was running 2 hours late which I think was down to slot time and was just pushing back at 1145 when I left.
The weather around the drome was appalling but it did mean some departures came right over the Olton cricket ground where I was umpiring.Nothing to exciting, a BMI A320,Monarch A321,Cityjet RJ85 and the afternoon Emirates B77W.
I did also note a DA42 and C208 buzzing around which I have ties up as G-DSKY and D-FAAC respectively.
Hopefully I will get back down again next Saturday,with something better than Flybe Dash 8 Delta to view.
